Starting from v1.4.69 you can adjust B1 Free Archiver settings before installation. First of all, you can choose target directory, where B1 Free Archiver will be installed. You can either leave it in the folder, which is checked by default or you can also select another folder.
If you choose to Select another folder you will be offered to install B1 into one of the offered folders or you can also make a new one.
If you had B1 Free Archiver previously installed and then updated it to 1.4.69 version, you won’t be able to select another destination folder that the one into which B1 Free Archiver was installed initially. In this case, if you want to change destination folder you will have to uninstall B1 Free Archiver from your PC and then install the latest version once again.
As for other options, you can now choose whether or not integrate “Extract” and “Create archive” items into Explorer context menu. If the option is unchecked you will have to launch B1 Free Archiver before creating or extracting archives. You can also choose to change file associations and thus open all archives with B1 Free Archiver just by double-clicking them.
