Struggling to help our users to experience the most out of B1, we pay a lot of attention to the questions we receive. One of the most popular ones (not to mention “What is the password?”) is “How do I access SD card on my Android?”. It never hurts to return to basics, so here’s a short tutorial on the topic.
There are two ways to access an external SD card (of course if you have one) on your device in B1 File Manager. First one is through the sidebar. Swipe from left side of the screen or tap the B1 icon in order to summon it.
Tap “Local” and there you’ll have an option to access External SD card.
Another way is by tapping the Home icon while being inside the Home directory.
This will take you to the “Go to” menu where the SD card is available. This method works in both B1 File Manager and B1 Free Archiver.
Whichever way you prefer, they both will eventually take you to the external SD card of the device.
